First, the organizational system and historical evolution of the forestry centre
Paiyangshan Forestry Centre was set up on May 3, 1955 and combinated by Tuolong, Tuoying, Paiyang and Kouyi by Ningming County in 1962. It has 99,333 ha of total area and once was the biggest forestry centre of Southeast Asia. After several demarcations and adjustments by the district and county, Paiyangshan Forestry Centre has been directly ruling by the area forestry office of Guangxi Zhuang since April, 1979. It is one of the large-scale state-owned forestry centres area straight in Guangxi, and the unit character is a balance allocation enterprise of ownership by the whole people .

Second, social environment
Paiyangshan Forestry Centre lies in the churchyard of Ningming county where is in the southwest of Guangxi and near to the boundaries of China and Vietnam. It is acrossed by Nan-You freeway, Xiang-Gui railroad and the 322th Nan-Ping national highway. The forest region transportation begins to take shape and the road network density amounts to 13.7meters/hectare. The HQ of the forestry center is located at county seat Ningming, Guangxi. It belongs to the north tropic monsoon climate, within the boundaries by the low mountain landform primarily and the terrain is complex. It is more suitable to grow for Tongmian pine, aniseed as well as north tropic famous specialty superior fruits.

Third, natural resource
There are 31,600hm2 of the total land area, 29,933hm2 of the management area, 29,933hm2 of the forestry land uses area, 21,266 hm2 of the forest land area, 65% of forest fraction of coverage, 72% of forest land afforestation rate, and 1,175,000 m3 amount of growing trees stock, the forest grow quickly and the forest reserve resources are more sufficient the whole forestry centre.

Fourth, human resources
There are 2,012 people of the total population, 1,029 staffs in book, thereinto, 211 cadres, 671 workers, 147 retirement personnel, 73 staffs in office graduated at junior college, 161 staffs graduated at high school or specialized middle school, 648 staffs graduated at below junior middle school; 199 personnel have gained the titles of technical post all kind of specialized technology, thereinto, 57 staffs have gained center-level or high-level titles of technical post.

Fifth, main products and income
There are approximately more than 70,000 m3 of wood, 5,000 tons of overcooking wood chip, 5,000 m3 of veneer, 1,600 m3 of plywood, more than 5,000 tons of rosin and 2,000,000 jin of fresh aniseed, and 25 tons of longan and litchi chinless which are high quality fruits yearly. We gain 40 million Yuan income and pay taxes 4 million Yuan yearly.

Sixth, organizations and agencies
There are presently 8 administrations, such as party and administration office, production department, treasurer's office, supply and marketing department, human resource department, forestry administration department, rapid fertility department, quality supervision department, but also some sub-organizations, such as synthesis service company, synthesis lumber processing factory, rosin factory, 8 afforestation sub-fields, police station and hospital.

Seventh, property value
There are 235 million Yuan of the total value for forest resources property, thereinto, 120 million Yuan of forest property, 5.4 million Yuan of protective forest value the whole forestry centre until the end of 2005.
